Guidelines and Requirements

Rate Adjustment/Table Shave Programs

When it looks like your client is going to be rated up 2 to 4 tables we have several carriers that have programs in place to offer STANDARD Rates to many of these folks.  We generically call these programs "Table Shave Programs " and you can find out more by clicking this link: Rated Case Improvement Programs  Carriers rules differ by Product, Face Amount, Age and other factors.  Don't worry, we know the rules and will determine for you if your clients qualify!

Preliminary Ratings

When you provide us with details on your prospects and clients, we use the information to shop your case with underwriters at our top carriers.  The objective is to have them provide guidance on what rating to apply to your case.  These preliminary ratings are very useful and we have had great success with this "quick quote" process.  Of course the tentative ratings are only as good as the information the client provides you and of course the Exam, Labs and any Medical Records will impact the final offer.

To provide you with the most accurate preliminary ratings we use our experience on previous cases plus direct contact with our underwriters.   If you can provide medical records and have an agency HIPPA Form signed we can even have our underwriter on retainer review detailed medical history and provide a written "recap" that we can send out to our carriers.

Generally though a short description and or completion of an impairment questionnaire and we can have you a pretty accurate rating within 24 hours or less
We realize that sometimes you just won't know what to ask or how to handle some of your prospects!

Part of the sales process is knowing that we don't always have the answers...but we do know how to get them!  When you run into the situation where you just need to know what to ask, you can visit our website or give us a call.

We will get you the right questionnaires for your case and then use that information to provide you with the most accurate rates possible!
It's not always Medical, when you run into someone who participates in hazardous sports or hobbies that's ok too, we can help you figure it out.
